Manuscript Review Process

　　Manuscript submission: The publication accepts online submissions only. Please log on http://manu61.magtech.com.cn/zgnz/EN/home and click "Author Login". If you are the first time to submit to this publication, please click "Registration", and to submit online after successful registration. Authors must upload WORD (.doc) format documents to the website. The research paper should be no less than 6000 words, and the review paper should be no less than 8000 words.
　　Submission registration: After the manuscript is submitted, the editing affairs will review the integrity of the first author and corresponding information, including author's name, year of birth, gender, professional title, educational background, research direction, E-mail address, telephone number, etc., and will use the "Scientific Journals Academic Misconduct Literature Detection System" to test the similarity, the manuscript that meet the requirements (similarity <20%) will be included in the manuscript processing system of China Brewing and a manuscript number will be given.
　　Preliminary review: After the manuscript is registered, it will be preliminarily assessed by the editor-in-charge that including manuscript format, topic scope, academic level, and language expression, etc. The qualified manuscript will be directly sent to peer review; the manuscript submitted for revision in the preliminary review shall be sent to the author for revision, and  it will be sent to peer review after the revision is passed; the unqualified manuscript will be returned directly.
　　Fee for peer review: If the manuscript passes the preliminarily review, the author will be notified to pay the review fee by E-mail. 
　　Peer review: Peer review will be arranged within 1-2 working days after receiving the review fee. China Brewing adopts a strict single-blind peer review process, 1-2 expert reviewers from related research fields are selected for peer review of manuscripts, which mainly evaluates the innovation, scientificity, academic level and application value of manuscripts, as well as the review of scientific research ethics and check the objective authenticity of contents. The authors have the right to propose the reviewers who need to be recused during the peer review, and the authors can recommend their review experts.
　　Secondary review: After peer review, the editor will provide secondary review comments based on peer review comments. There are usually three conditions for peer review results: publication after revision, re-review after revision, and rejection. For the manuscript with the "publication after revision" comment, further editorial processing will be carried out; for the manuscript with the "re-review after revision" comment, it will be sent to the experts depending on the modification, and the final decision will depend on the author's modification, peer re-review opinions and editorial department. For the manuscript with the “rejection” comment, the rejection opinions of the peer review and editorial department should be sent to the author.
　　Final review: After peer review, the editor-in-chief will provide final review comments based on the comments of peer review and editors. There are usually two conditions for final review results: publication after revision and rejection. For the manuscript with the "publication after revision" comment, further editorial processing will be carried out; for the manuscript with the “rejection” comment, the rejection opinions of peer review and editorial department should be sent to the author.
　　Editorial processing: According to the peer review comments and the standardization requirements of the academic journals, the editor will adjust the manuscript structure, and standardize the chart and expression. The authors shall carefully revise and supplement the manuscript according to the comments of peer review and editorial department, and return it before the revision deadline. If the revised manuscript does not meet the requirements, it shall be returned several times until the manuscript meets the requirements for publication.
　　Author self-proofreading: After editorial processing, the editorial department will return the manuscript to the author for self-proofreading. The information of the author and unit shall be confirmed, which cannot be further modified, and the authors should carefully check the consistency of the information in both Chinese and English. If there is any other change in the manuscript, the authors shall contact the editorial department by phone or E-mail.
　　Fee for publication: For the manuscript meets the acceptance requirements after revision, the publication fee will be charged for supporting the open access publishing, and the acceptance of manuscript and publication fee will be sent to authorsby E-mail.
　　Composing and Typesetting: The finalized manuscript will be grouped, then it will be delivered for typesetting.
　　Proofreading: After the typesetting is completed, the editorial department will proofread each manuscript 3 times in detail and overall aspects to minimize the error rate, including adjusting layout, checking the text, unifying the format, determining the position and layout of the chart, check whether there is any omission and mistake in references, proofread the English content.
　　Printing and Publishing: The typeset manuscript shall be delivered to the printing house for making press proof, once the press proof is verified by the editorial department, the final journal will be printed for publication and the electronic version will be uploaded to the network.
　　Samples issues sending and remuneration: After publication, two journal samples will be sent to the first author and remuneration will be paid on time.
