Mutation of alcohol-producing yeast using atmospheric room temperature plasma and the mutant strain characteristic
Atmospheric room temperature plasma technique is a quick and effective technique of mutation. The death time of alcohol-producing yeast under atmospheric room temperature plasma was 90s; Five excellent mutant strains were found out by screening experiment and counted the positive or negative mutation rate under different mutation standards. Screening experiments were carried out many times and the fermentation results were quite unanimous. Genetic stability experiments were also carried out and mutant strains were proved to exhibit good genetic stability; the weight loss of mutant strains was more than the original strain, which could also prove the fermentation results.
