In the development of empires, the British Empire has established the most complete and advanced colony system in the world. From the perspective of territory, population, army force, comprehensive power, science and technology level and international influence, the British Empire has achieved the summit of empires historically. The rise of the British Empire contributes to such hard power as science and technology, productivity level, army force and so on, as well as such soft power as national quality, rule power and political and economic systems. Representative democracy system, established after "Glorious Revolution", brings about technology revolution and industry revolution, which frees social productive power and make the British Empire rise to the earliest industrialized power in the world. It is the decisive factor to the summit of the British Empire. However, the logic of democratic politics is opposed to that of imperial politics. The development of democratic politics is bound to lead to the breakdown of imperial politics. The rise of the British Empire is due to the emergence of representative democracy, while the breakdown of the British Empire is due to the progress of democratic politics. The British Empire is unique in the history of empires in the world whose warning to the mankind is that all the dreams of imperial sovereign go against the mainstream of democratic progress of human beings, and they are bound to be eliminated by the mainstream civilization of human beings.

Kyrgyzstan is one of the five countries in Central Asia with relatively lagging economic development, and it is also one of the countries with a relatively unstable political situation. Nationalism plays an important role in Kyrgyzstan's political and social life. Nationalism is used by the Kyrgyzstan authorities and opposition to create exclusivity among citizen groups and differences among ethnic groups.Identity narrative becomes a political arrangement that drives narrators (regime elites) and audiences (ordinary people) to promote or oppose the consensus of a certain group. The analysis shows that Kyrgyzstan nationalism combines issues such as the external exclusivity of citizen nationalism, the fragility of the symbiotic relationship between the subject nation and non-subject nation, and the internal contradictions of the subject nation. The contradictions and conflicts between Kyrgyzstan's citizenship narrative of constructing a modern country and the ancient traditional tribal identity narrative form the narrative logic for understanding Kyrgyzstan's serious nationalism. Getting rid of the imperial legacy and reconstructing the identity narrative, thereby guiding nationalist emotions to a rational path, may be the direction of Kyrgyzstan's efforts to overcome nationalism and build a modern country.

Experts exchanged academic ideas on such topics as "Review and Prospect of Philosophical Research in the Northeast Region", “Contemporary Construction of the Philosophical Discourse System of Chinese-style Modernization”, “The Theory of Modernity in Philosophy and the Practice of Chinese-style Modernization”, and “The Future Development of the Community of Shared Future for Mankind and Chinese-style Modernization”.

Agricultural digitalization is an inevitable choice to promote agricultural and rural modernization to make breakthroughs, and it is the must-pass path to achieve all-round rural revitalization and accelerate the building of a agricultural power. Taking this as a starting point, the paper makes an indepth study on the mechanism and path of rural revitalization empowered by agricultural digitalization. It is concluded that agricultural digitalization empowers rural revitalization through three major mechanisms, such as institutional implementation, economic growth and green and sustainable development. The digital transformation of agriculture is faced with such realistic difficulties as insufficient digital talent reserve, weak digital foundation, insufficient capital investment together with waste of resources, and the inadequate and unbalanced transformation of all links of the industrial chain. It should be optimized by such paths as constructing a virtuous circle system of talents, promoting systematic innovation projects, increasing investment in capital resources, and strengthening digital investment and transformation of weak links in the industrial chain.

In recent years, driven by national policy support and the pursuit of self-development by pharmaceutical enterprises, Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises have embarked on a large-scale path of mergers and acquisitions. The paper takes the asset restructuring event between Yunnan Baiyao and Shanghai Pharmaceutical as the research target, and combines relevant theories to deeply analyze the motives of Yunnan Baiyao's mergers and acquisitions. The event study method is used to analyze and evaluate the short-term market response to this event. The research shows that the motivation for Yunnan Baiyao's acquisition is reflected in leveraging Shanghai Pharma's advantageous resources and capabilities of research and development to achieve collaborative development, improve its market share, promote its transformation and upgrading as well as the layout of the industrial chain, and reduce transaction costs. By calculating the cumulative excess return rate and other indicators of Yunnan Baiyao before and after the event, it's found that the event has had a positive wealth effect on the shareholders of Yunnan Baiyao in the short term.

With the implementation of the US Cloud Act and the EU's General Data Protection Regulation, multiple jurisdiction conflicts are almost inevitable. In the process of data exit security review, there are different laws and regulations in different countries, resulting in the situation of prohibiting and restricting data exit. At the same time, data powers are exerting influence on the security review of data exit by other sovereign states through the extraterritorial application of their own laws, and even requiring other data sovereign states to voluntarily provide data, triggering jurisdiction conflicts. In order to cope with the jurisdiction conflicts in data exit security review, the international community mainly manifests that the United States has begun to transform from building bilateral rules to multilateral rules, the European Union has established an international model of data exit security review through the data protection whitelist system, India has integrated into the data exit security review system established by the United States, and Russia has established the purpose of both internal and external strict data exit security review. The above measures have provided a positive reference for countries to deal with the jurisdiction conflict of data exit security review.

NFT, taking blockchain technology and smart contracts as basic technical framework, is an important infrastructure for Metaverse practice. NFT means Non-Fungible Token, which should be characterized as an encrypted digital token, rather than a real or virtual property in civil law, let alone legal currency or cryptocurrency. There are three main types of criminal risks in the current practice of NFT: firstly, the criminal risk of using NFT to set up scams, pyramid schemes or fund-raising fraud; secondly, the risk of intellectual property crime, data and asset security risk in NFT application; thirdly, the use of NFT for money laundering as well as the risks brought about by its financialization. In this regard, the criminal ecology of NFT should be systematically sorted out to theoretically empower judicial practice, establish industry self-regulatory rules to guide compliance operation of NFT platform, clarify the power and responsibility of the departments to achieve NFT supervision reasonably; Actively introduce the regulatory sandbox model to promote the transformation from one-way supervision to multi-governance supervision.

Ancient Chinese novels (especially novels about human relationship) often capture and extract the life scenes of "women hiding behind the screen" in writing women on the inner side. With the literary advantages, the novels can present a panoramic view of the communication and interaction between male and female characters in the dual space of synchronicity, construct conflicts, strengthen drama, and even render farce colors in order to express satire and criticism. In addition, from the perspective of "screen observation", the novels describe the perception activities of female characters towards the external world. The "screen" can serve as a typical example of using everyday objects to write about women on the inner side.

The debate narrative of Confucius in Japanese narrative literature, which is different from traditional narrative of the Confucius, has raised literary and cultural reflections. Focusing on the debate stories between Confucius and children, elderly people and bandits in Japanese narrative literature, this essay examines the unique Confucian view and cultural consciousness behind the stories by sorting out the acceptance and adaptation of Chinese Confucian literature of these stories. The debate narrative of Confucius in Japanese narrative literature originated from Chinese literature but ia not limited to the originals. Confucius in the debate is endowed with a vivid and concrete literary look, retaining both the pride of the sage and the baptism of the secular world. Sometimes he speaks with righteousness and justice, sometimes he has no choice but to be taught by others, and the reversal of the story plot and the contrast of character images form a unique dramatic background. It constructs the cultural core of ancient Japanese narrative of Confucius between imagination of China and localization reconstruction.

As the original historical materials, archives are of great value to the study of economic history. So far, the academic circles have finished many archived documents collections about northeast economic history of the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, and published many research fruits of economic history based on archives. However, there are still many deficiencies in this work. We need to further explore the research value of economic history of northeast archives, strive to promote the collection and publication of economic history archives, and deepen the research of northeast economic history.

As one of the founders of "Northeast Institue", Bian Hongru took Northeast history as his main research interest and made numerous academic fruits in his life. Even when the nation was in danger, he continued to devote himself to the study of the history of the Northeast, founding journals, sheltering exiled students, and calling on the academic community to pay attention to the history of the Northeast. Having studied under Lv Simian, Bian Hongru had a solid foundation of philology. He had also studied in Japan, endowing him with a broad research vision. Bian Hongru made great achievements in Local Gazetters, archaeology, philology, national history and cultural history, as well as the history of international relations in the Northeast China. His research achievements have made great contributions to the exploration and development of modern Northeast history research.

The smooth progress of Land Reform in the Northeast China is an important condition for the CPC to stabilize the revolutionary base areas, win the mass base, and further win the War of Liberation. As a unique land system of the Qing Dynasty, the banner land system originated from Shengjing and had undergone its historical process of occurrence, development and demise. Its development from prosperity to decline went through the whole Qing dynasty. As an important part of the Eight Banners, Shengjing Banner Land is the representative of its development and changes in different historical periods. During the years of Xianfeng, the free trade among bannermen in Shengjing was already very mature, but it was still forbidden for bannermen to hand over their property, which is different from the situation in the Guannei Jifu area. As for the banner land transactions, previous generations of scholars mostly studied from the perspective of the bannermen's cross-products, but the research on the bannermen's internal land transactions is less done. This paper is based on Hetu Dangse contained in the banner land transaction file, analyzes the land transactions among bannermen in the years of Xianfeng, and analyzes of the characteristics of this period of banner land transactions from the perspectives of transaction subject, source of banner land, transaction price, transaction relationship, management officials confirmation and the concentration of land rights. The value of archival information is that we can understand the psychological and behavioral characteristics of traders through detailed records of trading behavior, thus having a more detailed grasp of land transactions among bannermen.
